This notice applies to this website and software products published by Zewail. Individual products may provide additional in-app notices where their features require more specific information.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not operate user accounts, advertising profiles, or a database of your screenshots, clipboard history, photos, OCR text, filenames, or other files processed locally by our apps.

3. On-device processing

Products such as Shotrove perform OCR, indexing, tagging, search, and similarity analysis locally on your Mac. The app accesses only folders you authorize through macOS and stores its indexes and preferences locally in the app container.

Features that move, rename, or delete files act only when initiated or confirmed by you. Files removed through Shotrove are moved to the macOS Trash rather than permanently deleted by the app.

4. Website data

This website does not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral analytics. Like most hosting providers, the infrastructure serving the website may process basic technical logs such as IP address, request time, browser type, and requested page for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

5. Purchases through Paddle

When you purchase a product, Paddle processes payment and transaction information as the authorized reseller and merchant of record. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Paddle handles information under its Privacy Notice.

6. Support communications

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and diagnostic details. We use it only to respond, troubleshoot, protect our products, and meet legal obligations. Please avoid sending private file contents unless needed for support.

7. Retention and security

Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary for support, security, recordkeeping, and legal compliance. We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You can remove app data using macOS, revoke folder access, or uninstall an app. Depending on your location, you may have rights relating to personal information. To make a request, contact us using the address below. Transaction-related requests may need to be directed to Paddle.

9. Children

Our products are not designed to collect personal information from children, and we do not knowingly collect such information through this website.
