These terms govern your use of this website and software products published by Zewail, including Shotrove.
Effective August 2, 20261. Agreement
By downloading, purchasing, installing, or using our software, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software. You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Software license
Subject to payment of any applicable price and compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the purchased software for your personal or internal business purposes on devices you own or control.
You may not resell, sublicense, rent, redistribute, reverse engineer, bypass licensing controls, or use the software to violate the rights of others, except where applicable law expressly permits such conduct.
3. Your content and files
You retain ownership of the files and content you process with our software. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use that content and for maintaining appropriate backups before performing file-management operations.
4. Purchases and payment
Purchases offered through Paddle are processed by Paddle as the authorized reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, applicable taxes, receipts, and transaction support under its applicable Buyer Terms. We license and support the software product.
5. Updates and availability
We may release fixes, improvements, or compatibility updates. We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely or that the software will support every future operating-system version, device, or third-party service.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the website or software to harm others, distribute malware, interfere with services, infringe intellectual-property rights, or engage in unlawful activity.
7. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and software are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product during the twelve months preceding the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
9. Termination
Your license may terminate if you materially breach these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the software. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
